// the process

From preview to live, with zero risk at every step.

Most agencies ask for a deposit, then hope you like what they build. We flip that. You see the finished site before you pay a dollar, and once you do, your live domain stays untouched until you give the go-ahead. Here's exactly how that works.

See the finished site before you pay

We build your full rebuild on spec. You explore a working, clickable site — not a mockup — before any money changes hands.

Your live domain isn't touched until you approve

Once you're a client, we still build everything on a hidden staging URL. Your existing site keeps running until you say "go live."

Each step, and exactly who is doing it.

01

We build your site on spec

We do

We research your business, write real copy, and build out a complete, production-quality rebuild. This happens quietly — you don't lift a finger and you don't owe a dollar.

Your cost: $0 Your time: ~0 hours Your current site: unchanged
02

You preview it on a private URL

You do

We send you a private link. Click around, read the copy, test on your phone, share it with your partner. It's the real site — just not connected to your domain yet, and not indexed by Google.

Love it? Pick a plan. Don't love it? Walk away — you owe nothing.

This is the first of two zero-risk checkpoints. If the rebuild doesn't earn your "yes," the project ends here. No invoice, no pressure, no hard feelings. You keep everything you already had.

03

You choose a plan

You do

Pick the tier that fits — Essential, Standard, or Growth — and we send a one-click signup link. This is the first time money changes hands, and only because you've already seen the finished product.

04

We set up production on a staging URL

We do

We move the rebuild into your production environment — hosting, SSL, forms, analytics (Growth tier) — all wired up on a hidden staging URL like staging.taulp.com/your-business. Your domain and current site don't change.

Staging URL only Your live site: still unchanged DNS: untouched
05

You QA the staging site

You do

We hand you the staging URL for a final review. Read every page, submit the contact form, check it on your phone, show it to staff. Anything you want changed — hours, phone numbers, a photo swap — we fix before go-live. Your current site is still serving customers the whole time.

Safety gate 02 · Before it goes public

We don't touch your domain until you say the word.

Nothing public changes until you green-light the launch. If QA turns up an issue we didn't catch, we fix it on staging — customers looking you up today still see your current site, exactly as it is right now. The DNS cutover is a single, deliberate moment, not a surprise.

06

We flip DNS — your domain now points to the new site

We do

This is the one moment something actually changes publicly. We update your domain's DNS records to point at the new site. Within a few minutes to a few hours (DNS propagation), visitors to your domain land on the rebuild instead of the old site.

07

You're live — we handle the ongoing work

We do

Your new site is now answering customers. From here, we monitor uptime, handle hosting + security, run updates, and ship the content changes you send in (new hours, new photos, seasonal copy). Growth-tier clients also get monthly traffic reports and SEO monitoring.

Uptime monitoring Daily backups Content updates on request

What stays exactly the same while we build.

Your domain

Unchanged

DNS records stay pointed at your existing host until you approve the cutover.

Your current site

Still live

Customers looking you up see exactly what they saw yesterday. Zero downtime for the review window.

Your email + listings

Untouched

We only touch your domain's web DNS record at cutover. Email, MX, and third-party listings are left alone.
